Couperin and Antoine and Jean-Baptiste Forqueray.
The Boston Musical Intelligencer wrote that "not everyone can capture the Baroque French style as Cienniwa does." His recording with Grammy Award-winning uilleann piper Jerry O'Sullivan was called "Early drop-dead gorgeous" and named one of the top ten Irish traditional albums of 2010 by The Irish Echo.
As a scholar, he been awarded Belgian American Educational Foundation and Fulbright grants, and his musicological articles have appeared in American and European journals, including Music and Ad Parnassum.

Concert: Clavichordist Henry Lebedinsky '97 will perform music from the court and salons of 18th century St. Petersburg, including music by Bortniansky, Khandoshkin, Kozlovsky, Oginsky, and Palschau. Experience the conflict between East and West as Russian composers began to blend Italian, German and native Russian melodies and harmonies to create a new music - one that would soon give rise to the great Russian Romantics.
Mr. Lebedinsky will give a pre-concert lecture on the clavichord and its repertory at 6:30 PM.

Concert: LA MORRA, named after Heinrich Isaac's famous instrumental piece, performs European music of the period roughly defined by the dates 1300 and 1500 (traditionally referred to as 'late Medieval' and / or 'early Renaissance') with occasional escapades outside this time frame (such as the works written for LA MORRA by Boris Yoffe). The ensemble pays particular attention to the secular art song, sacred para-liturgical genres and instrumental music.
La Morra's performances have been described as 'skillful', 'elegant' (Early Music), 'virtuoso', 'seductive', 'plausible' (Diapason), 'in a word: delightful' (Goldberg Magazine).
LA MORRA makes its home in Basle, the cultural capital of Switzerland.

Paula Marcela Moreno Zapata was the Minister of Culture of Colombia from 2007-2010. Moreno was the first Afro-Colombian woman, as well as the youngest person to ever hold a cabinet-level ministry. Paula Moreno is currently the President of Visible Hands Foundation and advisor of international agencies and foundations such as ACDI VOCA, Open Society Foundations and UNESCO.
